In course, participants will receive an in-depth overview of Trust Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®), an evidence-based, trauma-informed caregiving method. Participants will learn how trauma impacts developing brains and how professionals can bring healing and wholeness to the adults and children with whom they work. The introductory module walks participants through the three principles of TBRI® — Connecting, Empowering, and Correcting — and equips them with actionable strategies that they can start to implement right away.
This six-hour module will be split into two 3-hour sessions. Participants must attend both sessions in order to receive a certificate of completion.
This training is open to all interested caregivers and professionals. We’re pleased to offer a discount to nonprofit staff (please use your work email to register), adoptive/foster parents, and court-ordered parents. If cost is an issue, we invite you to apply for a partial scholarship here. (Please do not use the “partial scholarship” registration until your application has been approved; unauthorized registrations in the partial scholarship category will be rejected.)
