Invitation Only: Trauma-Informed Volunteer Training at CrossRoads Church

Please note: This training is exclusively for the children’s/youth ministry teams at CrossRoads Church, Trinity Presbyterian Church, New Life Church, and their invited guests.  As of 10/6, childcare is now closed; adult registration will remain open.

In this session, participants will receive a brief overview of Trust Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®), an evidence-based, trauma-informed caregiving method.  Participants will learn how trauma impacts developing brains and how ministry volunteers can bring healing and wholeness to the children in their care.  The introductory module walks participants through the three principles of TBRI® — Connecting, Empowering, and Correcting — and equips them with actionable strategies that they can start to implement right away.
