In this session, participants will receive a brief overview of Trust Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®), an evidence-based, trauma-informed caregiving method. Participants will learn how trauma impacts developing brains and how parents can bring healing and wholeness to their children. The introductory module walks participants through the three principles of TBRI® — Connecting, Empowering, and Correcting — and equips them with actionable strategies that they can start to implement right away.
Dinner (Friday) and light breakfast (Saturday) will be provided. Certificates will be distributed at the end of the session. Participants must attend both sessions to receive a certificate of completion.
