     9:00 am - 5:00 pm

We’re pleased to offer this training at no cost, thanks to the generous support of Safe & Secure Tennessee, the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services, and Building Strong Brains.

Participants will leave this 8-hour training with the confidence and expertise to teach trauma-informed life skills through playful engagement to adults and children healing from complex trauma.

This training is required for mentors in the Bradley County Juvenile Courts and CASA Mentorship programs.

Participants must complete the full TBRI® Caregiver training package (Connecting, Empowering, and Correcting Modules) prior to attending this course. Prerequisite courses will be posted on www.orphanwise.org/training/.  Completion of the 18-hour TBRI Training for Organizations course fulfills this requirement.

Lunch will be provided. Please register by March 8.

Facilitator: Lucinda Miles, TBRI® Program Director, Volunteers for Youth Justice
