  •  February 23, 2024 - March 1, 2024
     8:30 am - 12:00 pm

Note: This event is made possible by the generous support of The United Way of the Ocoee Region. Only UWOR VISTAs may attend.

In this session, participants will receive a brief overview of Trust Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®), an evidence-based, trauma-informed caregiving method. Participants will learn how trauma impacts developing brains and how professionals can bring healing and wholeness to the adults and children with whom they work. The introductory module walks participants through the three principles of TBRI® — Connecting, Empowering, and Correcting — and equips them with actionable strategies that they can start to implement right away.

Note: This 7-hour training is broken into two sessions; participants must register online (here) and attend both sessions in order to receive a certificate of completion.
